Pastor Kevin E. Weaver Interim Pastor
St. John's United Church of Christ
Cappeln, MO

The Rev. Mr. Kevin Weaver comes to you with over 35 years of experience as an ordained minister, and over 25 years in intentional interim ministry. He has served in many churches in
the Eastern and St. Louis Associations of the Missouri Mid-South Conference and five congregations in Illinois South.

Kevin was reared in Clinton, Iowa, the eldest of three children.  He graduated from the University of Iowa in 1977 with honors in Religion and from Eden Theological Seminary in
1980, winning the American Bible Society award for biblical studies.  He received his training in interim ministry in 1989.

Kevin married Debra Crane on October 17, 1980 and they have one son, Kenton who is serving in the United States Navy on the submarine, USS Albuquerque.   His daughter-in-law Alexandra
is also a US sailor aboard the carrier, USS Theodore Roosevelt.

In addition to interim ministry, Kevin is an enthusiastic and active Freemason, serving as Secretary of many local organizations and as Chaplain for several state organizations as well.

He has performed on stage as a member of the ShowStopper Revue in Hermann, Missouri for 4 years, and for 10 years with various community theatre groups.  He was a member of the
Collinsville Chorale at the time they made their second appearance at Carnegie Hall.  He now sings with the We Are One Community Chorus from Arnold, MO along with his wife.

Kevin is always excited about serving in the interim church, in helping congregations through this time of change with his counsel and experience and humor when appropriate.  His door is
always open for whatever concerns you may have.
